Photography 2025
We launched our first Photography Exhibit and hosted regional photographers ages 18 and up to submit work for a juried exhibition celebrating the art of seeing and the power of visual storytelling. World shared through the lens—capturing moments, telling stories, and revealing beauty in everyday life. This exhibit will showcased a diverse range of photographic styles, subjects, and techniques. Up to $1,000 in awards were distrubuted.

First Annual Autumn Exhibit
The Black Swamp Arts Council hosted its First Annual Art Exhibit from September 25, through November 7, 2025. Forty two artists from around the regions displayed 117 works in this inaugural exhibition. Media ranged from paintings to ceramics, mixed media, fiber and more. Approximately $1,000 in awards were distributed. The Black Swamp Arts Council’s Autumn Exhibit will become a vibrant tradition to support artists in the tri-state area.

Art Without Bounds
The Black Swamp Art Center launched its first 2025 juried exhibition with “Art Without Bounds”, which ran from May 21 – July 12, 2025. This showcase celebrated a wide variety of artworks in various themes, and mediums, and offered captivating experiences to inspire a community of all interests and all backgrounds.

2026 Annual Fall Art Exhibit
Deadline is September 11.
Our Second Annual Fall Art Exhibit call for entries is open! The online entry platform will close on September 11, 2026. Entry is open to all artists 18 and older. A non-refundable submission fee of $30 (BSAC members), $35 (non-member price) entitles the artist to submit up to three entries. Up to $1,000 in awards will be given out. A Free, opening party and awards presentation will be held, Thursday, September 24, 5:30–7 p.m. Appetizers, wine and beer will be available. Artwork does not need to be fall themed.
